Free Form Movement: A Dance of Presence, Freedom, and Joy
The intention behind Free Form Movement is to create a sacred space where we can fully express ourselves, free from judgment or expectation. Through this practice, we celebrate the joy of moving our bodies, not for performance, but for the pure expression of who we are. Free form dance is a celebration of our unique expression in the universe, unscripted, and fully alive. In Free Form Dance, we move from a space of flow, driven by sound and rhythm, into a place of stillness and silence. This journey begins with spontaneous movement and deep breath awareness helping us unlock the body’s natural fluidity.
From a very young age, Carmen’s connection to movement was innate. Dancing freely came as naturally as breathing. It became her way of connecting with her inner world, and now she shares this practice with you to help others reconnect with their own joy.
No prior dance experience is necessary, just bring your open heart and willingness to connect with yourself through the dance. Let go, move freely, and experience the magic of being fully present.

Sacred Principles of Free Form Dance
• Let go of judgment - Don’t worry about how you look or if you’re doing it “right.” Free form dance is about feeling, not performing.
• Move from the inside out – Pay attention to how your body wants to move. Sometimes it’s slow and fluid, other times fast and spontaneous.
• Create space for self-expression – Dance to express yourself, your joy, Let the music be a language that your body speaks fluently.
• Let the music guide you – Whether it’s a beat that excites you or a melody that calms you, let the music be the canvas and your body the brush. Feel it deeply.
• Embrace flow and improvisation – There’s no choreography, no rules, just flow. Let your body follow its natural instinct and flow with the rhythm.
• Connect to the present moment – Free form dance brings you into the now, grounding you in the present. It’s a practice of mindfulness through movement.
• Find liberation in movement – Dancing freely gives you the freedom to let go and just be.
